Methodist Medical Group in Richardson, TX is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to join the Cardiology team on a full-time basis. The PA will provide comprehensive cardiovascular care, collaborate with a team of providers, and support hospital rounding and transitions of care.

Requirements include Texas licensure and DEA, NCCPA certification, and at least two years of cardiology experience; Vietnamese language skills are a plus. MMG offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Certified by NCCPA as a Physician Assistant.
• Unrestricted Texas Medical License and DEA.
• At least two years of Cardiology experience.
• Fluent in Vietnamese is a plus, not required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and management of patients with cardiovascular conditions.
• Conduct physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and formulate treatment plans with supervising physicians.
• Manage acute and chronic cardiac conditions including hypertension, arrhythmias, heart failure, CAD, and post-procedural care.
• Assist with hospital rounding and transitions of care; prescribe medications per scope of practice.
• Educate patients and families on disease management and prevention.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EPIC.
