Job summary

Texas Health Physicians Group in Plano, Texas, is pleased to announce a full-time opening for a Cardiovascular Physician Assistant with critical and acute care experience. Join a team of leading cardiologists and work in a multidisciplinary setting with on-site Nuclear, Stress Tests, and Echocardiogram services.

The role is primarily clinic-based with hospital rounding and shared call; 40 hours per week with Saturday coverage 2 days a month.

Qualifications

• Active Texas license.
• Physician Assistant Board Certification and Experience
• Acute and Critical Care experience
• Degree in PA studies from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• 1-3 years of Cardiology experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Outpatient Ambulatory Visits, Hospital call once a month
• Nuclear, Stress Tests, Echocardiogram all on site
• Primarily clinic based with hospital rounding activities one Saturday per month
• Electronic Medical Records
• Take pride in offering a multidimensional approach to cardiac and peripheral vascular therapies

Requirements Needed to Apply:

Physician Assistant Qualifications:

The Physician Assistant (“PA”) will be licensed as a physician assistant in the State of Texas and maintain such license in good standing at all times. Master's degree Physician Assistant required. The PA will report to the supervising physician and/or the Medical Director and will be responsible for meeting CME requirements to maintain certification and licensure. The PA’s duties and responsibilities apply to the THPG patient population and assigned setting only.
