Job summary

Mayo Clinic is seeking a registered nurse (RN) to join the Cardiology Outpatient Practice, focusing on Pericardial and Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy clinics. The RN will provide direct patient care, education, and transitions of care, coordinating with providers and Care Team members to uphold Mayo Clinic nursing standards.

The role requires RN licensure, BLS, and cardiology experience is preferred. This is a part-time position with Monday–Friday daytime hours, and TN sponsorship is available for

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program recognized by ACEN/CCNE/NLN CNEA.
• One year of RN experience required.
• All entry-level associate degree RNs with a start date of April 1, 2020 or later must document completion of a baccalaureate degree within five years.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and pre-visit preparation in the Cardiology Outpatient Practice.
• Educate patients and families and coordinate transitions of care.
• Collaborate with providers and Care Team members to ensure quality nursing care.
• Lead and mentor within Mayo Clinic Nursing Professional Practice Model and quality initiatives.
• Follow required licensure, certifications, and continuing education standards.
