Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Minnesota is seeking a Cardiology Outpatient RN to deliver direct patient care in Pericardial and Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy clinics. You will participate in pre-visit prep, patient education, and care transitions, while collaborating with providers and care team members.

You will practice within Mayo Clinic Nursing Model, lead quality improvement efforts, and support professional development and mentoring within a dynamic cardiology unit. This role is eligible for TN sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program recognized by ACEN/CCNE/NLN CNEA.
• One year of RN experience required.
• Current direct patient care experience required.
• BLS certification required; state RN licensure must be in place.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in Cardiology Outpatient Practice.
• Perform pre-visit preparation and patient/family education.
• Coordinate transitions of care and collaborate with the care team.
• Support nursing practice within Mayo Clinic Nursing Model and lead quality efforts.
