Job summary

The role requires an RN license, BLS, and at least one year of RN experience. TN sponsorship is available; state licensure and VisaScreen or equivalent certification may be required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program recognized by ACEN/CCNE/NLN CNEA.
• One year of RN experience required.
• Current RN license by applicable state requirements.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) must be valid for 90 days post start date; acceptable certifications include AHA/Heartcode BLS, Military Training Network, Red Cross CPR/AED for Professionals.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and education in Cardiology Outpatient Clinics.
• Coordinate care across the care team and transitions of care.
• Pre-visit preparation and post-visit follow-up with patients and families.
• Lead and participate in quality improvement efforts and nursing practice within Mayo Clinic Nursing Model.
