Qualifications

• Minimum high school education or GED; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• One of the following certifications required: RDCS, RCS, or RVT.
• Current BLS/Healthcare Provider status per American Heart Association standards.
• At least two years of experience performing EKGs, Holter monitors, treadmills, and/or Cardiac Sonography.
• Minimum of two years supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Cardiology Manager in monitoring day-to-day operations.
• Resolve employee concerns and coach/counsel staff.
• Maintain quality of the department’s work product.
• Monitor department expenses and provide input for policies.
• Collaborate in developing staff schedules.
• Provide age-appropriate care to patients.
• Orient new employees and maintain training competency records.
• Assist with performance evaluations and ongoing education.
• Serve as Cardiology Manager in their absence.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
