The incumbent will lead efforts in clinical excellence, budgeting adherence, and shared governance while guiding nursing staff to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care within a Magnet-designated environment.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing school; BSN or current enrollment in BSN program required.
• Current Connecticut Registered Nurse license is required before start date.
• Minimum 2 years of behavioral health RN experience required.
• Charge or supervisory experience required.
• Certification in the specialty area(s) required within 2 years from hire.
• Unit based competency package and related requirements as per hospital policy.

Responsibilities

• Leads and motivates others to achieve team, unit, and Bristol Hospital goals.
• Identifies system problems and coordinates resolution using multidisciplinary resources.
• Promotes integration of system-wide and patient care service initiatives into delivery and management of care.
