Cleveland Clinic Florida is seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our Cardiology team at Sebastian Outpatient Center. This full-time outpatient role offers collaboration with cardiology specialists and opportunities to provide high-quality care in a respected healthcare system.

The APRN/PA team works in outpatient clinics with a focus on health promotion, disease prevention and comprehensive cardiovascular care; certification and licensure requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner; board-certified or eligible as applicable.
• Outpatient cardiology experience preferred.
• Ability to collaborate with cardiology specialists and healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Take medical histories and perform physical examinations; develop diagnoses and treatment plans.
• Order and interpret routine diagnostic tests; coordinate with the health care team.
• Prescribe and monitor medications per license and policy.
• Educate patients about disease, treatments and side effects.
• Participate in rounds and refer patients to specialists when needed.
• Ensure continuity of care within the multidisciplinary team.
