Job summary

Mayo Clinic Arizona is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our outpatient cardiology team in the Division of Comprehensive and Preventive Cardiology. The NP/PA will work within care teams, maintain their own clinic, and collaborate with physicians, nursing and admin staff to provide high-quality cardiovascular care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient cardiology care including post-hospital follow up, symptom assessment, longitudinal management, diagnostic review, and development of individualized treatment plans.
• Care for a broad range of cardiovascular conditions such as hypertension, hyperlipidemia, coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, valvular disease and preventive cardiology.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing and administrative colleagues within Mayo Clinic and with other subspecialities and primary care.
• Maintain an individual patient clinic alongside team-based care; participate in research and Mayo Clinic Bold.Forward.Unbound initiatives.
