Job summary

Intermountain Health is hiring an Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) in Cardiology for the Murray, UT area. The position is housed in the Cardiac Molecular Imaging department and supports non-invasive imaging cardiovascular patients.

Work weeks are 4 days (7a–6p) with occasional weekends and no current on-call requirement. Qualifications include APRN or PA-C degree, Utah license (or ability to obtain), successful credentialing, and at least 1 year of cardiology experience as an NP/PA.

Qualifications

• APRN or PA-C with cardiology exposure.
• Active Utah license or ability to obtain one.
• Successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process.
• Minimum 1 year of cardiology experience as NP/PA.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient lists and queues for cardiovascular procedures and tests.
• Review and triage orders; coordinate care and supervise stress tests and device interrogations.
• Document patient interactions and scheduling attempts in the EMR.
• Maintain clear communication and accurate records across care teams.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and APPs to optimize cardiovascular care pathways.
• Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and training as the service line grows.
