Job summary

Intermountain Health in Murray, UT is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Cardiology team in the Cardiac Molecular Imaging department, supporting non-invasive cardiovascular imaging and coordinating patient care. The role offers four days per week, 7 am–6 pm, with occasional weekends and no current on-call.

Qualifications

• APRN or PA-C degree from an accredited program.
• Active Utah license or ability to obtain one.
• Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process.
• Minimum 1 year of cardiology experience as an NP or PA.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient lists and queues; ensure timely follow-up and accurate scheduling for cardiovascular procedures and tests.
• Review and triage orders; verify patient information and coordinate care, including stress tests and device interrogations.
• Document all patient interactions and scheduling attempts in the EMR; maintain clear communication and accurate records.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other APPs to optimize patient care pathways and services.
• Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members as the service grows.
