Job Opportunity: Locum Non-Invasive Cardiology Physician in Northeast Ohio

ProTouch Medical is seeking a Locum Non-Invasive Cardiology Physician to provide ongoing coverage starting April 2025 in Northeast Ohio. The candidate should be comfortable with credentialing at multiple nearby sites.

Job Details

• Type: Locum / Contract
• Shifts: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Practice Setting & Responsibilities

• Inpatient/Call practice setting
• Coverage due to provider retirement, covering four sites
• Weekend call 1-2 weekends/month; possibly 1-2 weekdays when not on weekend call
• Inpatient-only patient care
• Trauma Level: Level 1 at St. Elizabeth's
• Total beds: 370 downtown, smaller at other sites
• ICU beds: 50 in Youngstown
• Number of cardiologists in group: 7, with others present during locum coverage

Work Environment

• Onsite hospital setting
• Outpatient and call duties

Procedures Required

• Treadmill Stress Tests
• Electrical Cardioversions
• Transesophageal Echocardiography
• Echocardiography
• Electrocardiograms (EKGs)
• Chemical Stress Tests
• MRI/CT Reads (if possible)

Minimum Requirements

• Board Certified in Cardiology
• Ohio Medical License or willingness to obtain
• BLS and ACLS certifications
