Job summary

UCSF Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care in the cardiology non-invasive lab environment. The role emphasizes tasks across the nursing process, collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, and support for patients with complex needs.

The RN will work under the California Nurse Practice Act and ANA Standards, performing procedures in stress tests, echocardiography-related activities, and related responsibilities. Flexibility to cover multiple UCSF locations is required.

Qualifications

• Proficient in ECG interpretation.
• Registered Nurse with CA RN licensure.
• BSN degree preferred; licensure in California required.
• ACLS and CPR certifications active and current.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide safe, therapeutic care.
• Functions as a member of interdisciplinary and nursing teams and carries out established nursing procedures.
• Assists with management of patient care and supports cardiology non-invasive lab nursing staff.
• Provides coverage and flexible orientation to all UCSF Heart and Vascular locations.
