Citrus Cardiology Consultants, P.L.L.C. is seeking a skilled medical coder with 3-5 years in cardiology billing to ensure coding accuracy and regulatory compliance.

You will verify documentation, assign CPT/ICD-10-CM/HCPCS codes, and collaborate with the Denials Department to reduce errors across the revenue cycle. Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to ensure documentation accuracy.
• Deep understanding of medical terminology and coding standards.

Responsibilities

• Review and assign CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS codes based on physician charges.
• Verify that patient records meet coding and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with Denials Department to identify patterns and implement corrective actions.
• Code hospital consults, follow ups, and diagnostic testing.
• Audit charts for completeness and accuracy across records and notes.
• Ensure presence and accuracy of diagnoses, indications, and physician signatures.
