The position requires MA certification or equivalent, BLS, and strong communication in English; Spanish language skills are highly preferred to assist diverse families. Collaboration with physicians and nurses is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum one of the listed credentials (MA, LPN, EMT, or RN) required.
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification preferred or required.
• One year of medical assistant experience is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Answers phones, routes calls, relays messages.
• Prepares and administers medications as directed by provider.
• Immunizations may be administered for primary care MA positions.
• Documents patient conditions and communicates with clinicians.
• Maintains medical records and charts for appointments.
