Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent credential.
• American Heart Association BLS certification active and in good standing.
• Fluent in English and Spanish preferred; strong written and verbal communication.
• 1 year of medical assistant experience preferred; experience in physician practice is a plus.
• Strong patient management, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to coordinate clinical care and work in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, route calls, and relay messages.
• Prepare and administer medications as directed.
• Immunize patients where applicable and follow provider instructions.
• Maintain medical records and ensure charting is complete for appointments.
• Assist with patient check-in, billing, and scheduling.
