Job summary

CardioOne’s new Cincy Heart practice in Ohio is hiring a Medical Assistant to support patient care as the team launches in early 2027. You will work with an interdisciplinary group to ensure smooth workflows, accurate charting, and excellent patient experiences.

This role requires preparing charts in AthenaHealth, performing in-clinic tests, and coordinating admissions and lab services. Travel between Eastgate and West Chester offices required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years of healthcare office experience.
• Certified Medical Assistant in good standing.
• EKG competency preferred.
• Proficient with AthenaHealth EMR and related software.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients and document basic medical history.
• Update and file medical records and insurance reports.
• Arrange hospital admissions and laboratory services.
• Check patients and type up charts; assist during exams.
• Produce correspondence and manage patient communications.
• Manage prescriptions, renewals, and pharmacy coordination.
• Prepare treatment rooms and medical instruments.
• Travel between Eastgate and West Chester offices as needed.
