Qualifications

• Must possess Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification.
• 1 year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and room patients for exam by obtaining vital signs.
• Perform laboratory procedures using standard precautions.
• Assist the Physician/APP with various procedures.
• Administer routine medications under supervision.
• Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team.

Skills

Ability to perform routine and complex technical skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Proficient computer skills

Demonstrates customer service skills

Education

High School Diploma or GED; Associate’s Degree in Medical Assisting preferred

Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program
