Florida Medical Clinic Orlando Health is seeking a Medical Assistant for our Cardiology department, performing patient care under physician supervision in an ambulatory setting, and assisting with examinations and patient education.

This full-time role runs Monday–Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM across two locations: 4320 Bruce B Downs (3 days) and 2727 W MLK (2 days). Orlando Health offers tuition reimbursement, health coverage, retirement matching, and paid leave.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Completed Medical Assistant training from an approved program or verifiable work experience in patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients and families with preparation for examination and during procedures.
• Document treatments, orders, and patient education according to policies.
• Enter medications, orders, and diagnostics into the EMR under provider direction.
• Demonstrate professional communication with patients and family members.

Education
