Job summary

Cleveland Clinic is seeking a caregiver to join our team at our Westlake area facilities. The role involves working 7:00am to 8:00pm with evenings and weekends as needed, with potential floating to other westside family health center facilities.

Responsibilities include assisting with screenings and treatments, monitoring patient condition, maintaining equipment and performing administrative duties. Minimum qualifications include a medical assisting program or military medical training and BLS

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved medical assisting program OR military training as a hospital Corpsman (HM), Combat Medic (68W) or Medical Service Technician (4N0X1).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross. If you do not hold this certification, you must obtain it during your new hire period.
• Completion of a clinical externship OR extensive clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with screenings and treatments by gathering and updating information related to health maintenance, identifying medication changes, updating allergy information, collecting specimens, performing tests and documenting patient care.
• Monitor and communicate changes in patient condition.
• Maintain equipment, medical supplies and examination areas.
• Perform administrative/clerical duties, such as filing, reception, scheduling, data entry and patient registration.
