Job summary

Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences in Seattle, WA is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C) for a busy cardiology clinic. This is an on-site, three-month contract with potential extension. Schedule is full-time, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

The MA-C will room patients, record vital signs, verify medications and patient history, and assist providers with clinical tasks while maintaining HIPAA compliance and quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Active MA-C credential required.
• Minimum 1 year MA experience preferred.
• Strong patient care and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Experience with electronic medical records preferred.
• Cardiology experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and prepare them for appointments.
• Obtain and document vital signs including blood pressure, weight, pulse, and height.
• Verify medications, allergies, and patient medical history.
• Assist providers with patient care and clinical support activities.
• Complete patient paperwork and maintain accurate documentation.
• Support daily clinic operations while providing excellent patient care.
• Follow HIPAA guidelines and facility policies and procedures.
