Advocate Health’s AMG Transplant Cardiology department seeks a Medical Scribe to support providers and streamline patient flow. You will document patient visits in the EHR, ensure clear patient understanding of the scribe role, and enhance efficiency and satisfaction.

Full-time, 1st shift, Monday–Friday, 7 am–5 pm. Homebase at St. Luke’s with occasional travel to Kenosha clinic; mileage reimbursed. May cover Cardiology at St. Luke’s as needed.

• Pre-Visit: Assemble patient charts, retrieve records, gather test results before visits.
• Real-Time Documentation: Transcribe visits into the EHR with precise medical terminology.
• Order Entry: Pend labs, imaging, medications, and referrals with diagnoses.
• Chart Completion: Update histories, follow-up instructions, submit final records.
• Clinical Assistance: Measure vital signs, orient patients, assist with non-sterile procedures.
