Job summary

OptumCare UnitedHealth Group’s Kelsey-Seybold Clinic in The Woodlands, TX, seeks an Exercise Physiologist to support the Cardiology Lab with stress testing, EKGs, Holter monitoring, and pacemaker checks. You’ll prepare patients, ensure forms and codes, and maintain accurate documentation while delivering excellent customer service.

Required: Bachelor’s in Exercise Physiology or related field, BLS/ACLS, and experience in a lab or rehab setting; strong teamwork and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology or related field is required.
• BLS and ACLS certification through American Heart Association.
• Experience in an exercise testing laboratory or cardiac rehab setting preferred.
• Willing to work extended shifts when needed.
• Strong computer and typing skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform stress testing, EKGs, Holter monitoring and pacemaker checks.
• Prepare patients, obtain forms, and assign correct billing codes.
• Monitor ECG and vital signs during tests and ensure patient safety.
• Document results accurately and maintain lab policies.
• Provide excellent customer service and coordinate with clinicians.
