Job summary

AdventHealth in Ocala, FL is seeking an experienced Cardiovascular APRN to join our cardiovascular team. You will provide comprehensive cardiovascular evaluations and collaborate with cardiologists across inpatient and outpatient settings to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in cardiology or electrophysiology, hold a Florida APRN license, and are certified in BLS/ACLS.

Qualifications

Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited NP program.
Current Florida APRN license.
Current BLS and ACLS certification.
Minimum of 2 years of cardiovascular, cardiology, electrophysiology, critical care, hospital medicine, or related advanced practice experience.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including history and physical examinations.
Assess, diagnose, and manage patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions.
Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests including ECGs, Echocardiograms, Stress tests, and imaging.
Provide education regarding disease management, medications, lifestyle modifications, and cardiac risk reduction.
Participate in hospital rounds and outpatient clinic visits.
Monitor and manage patients following cardiovascular procedures and interventions.
Coordinate transitions of care and ensure timely follow-up appointments.
