Practice in the Hidden Jewel of the Northwest: Cardiac Electrophysiologist opening with Heart & Vascular Institute in Southeastern Idaho

Located in the Gateway to the Northwest, Idaho medical group is seeking a BC/BE Cardiologist-Electrophysiology to join their well-established cardiology group based in southeastern Idaho. Their Heart & Vascular Institute at the Level II Center is among the most highly regarded groups in the region. With a proud history of clinical excellence, their physicians focus on the prevention of heart disease and offer rapid intervention and comprehensive care to restore patients' health. The team utilizes advanced device management technology, including implanted Pacemakers, ICDs, Loop recorders, and Zio monitoring.

Practice Details:

• Join a cardiology group of 10 physicians and 7 advanced practitioners, supported by 26 staff members
• Established Electrophysiology practice performing cardiac ablations, WATCHMAN procedures, Pacemaker implantations
• Varied patient population with diverse EP needs
• Full-spectrum heart program: general, interventional, EP, structural, and open-heart
• Increasing cardiology volumes annually
• Opportunity to enjoy outdoor activities in a Rocky Mountain town known as the Hidden Jewel of the Northwest

Position Details:

• Hospital-employed, single specialty group
• Inpatient and outpatient settings
• Dedicated onsite lab and EKG services
• Clinic/lab schedule: Monday-Friday
• Some weekend work required
• Call rotation: 7 days/month with excess call pay
• Supervisory responsibilities for APPs
• Optional rotations for residents and/or medical students

Minimum Qualifications:

• ABIM BC/BE Cardiologist, subspecializing in Electrophysiology
• Fellowship training in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology
• Recent graduates and experienced EP fellows encouraged to apply
