Job summary

Lifepoint Health’s FryeCare Cardiology Clinic in Hickory, NC seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time role. You will join a team focused on pacemakers, defibrillators, and cardiac devices within a dedicated clinic, with a Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm schedule and no weekend/holiday shifts.

The RN will perform patient assessments, administer care, document medical necessity, and support interdisciplinary plans to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active North Carolina RN license (single-state) or compact; compact allowed.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS required within six months of hire.
• Two+ years of RN clinic or acute hospital experience.
• Cardiology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and identify needs.
• Initiate appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provide age-appropriate care and documentation in the medical record.
• Coordinate care plans and interdisciplinary communication.
• Educate patients and families as needed.
• Advocate for patient wellbeing and safety.
• Work with providers to ensure quality outcomes.
