Job summary

Winchester Hospital, part of Beth Israel Lahey Health, is seeking an experienced leader for the Cardiology Department. The role directs daily diagnostic activities, schedules staff, monitors equipment quality, and ensures safe, efficient patient flow.

A strong background in cardiology, plus supervision experience, is required. The successful candidate will maintain life support certifications and deliver exceptional patient and family service while upholding hospital policies and performance

Qualifications

• Associates degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• At least three years of cardiology experience with supervisor experience preferred.
• Must possess excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and directs activities of the Cardiology Department, including patient booking, staff scheduling and flow of diagnostic.
• Interviews, hires, orients, trains and evaluates cardiology staff with annual competency and performance reviews.
• Maintains life support certifications and tuberculosis testing; ensures safety for patients and staff.
• Performs stress tests prep, data collection, data interpretation support and assists physicians during testing.
• Schedules cardiology tests in the Epic system and manages equipment maintenance and supplies.
