UChicago Medicine is seeking a Nursing Support Assistant (CNA) for the 4C Cardiology unit at Hyde Park, under the supervision of the Manager and Clinical Supervisor. The role provides essential patient care, monitors patients, documents findings, and supports the healthcare team in daily operations.

Responsibilities include basic patient care, hygiene, vital signs, specimen collection, discharge prep, environment maintenance, and timely CPR initiation when needed. Full-time, night shift, onsite.

Qualifications

• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Ability to read and write, perform simple calculations, follow instructions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work with management and staff.
• Physical ability to perform tasks including lifting heavy objects.

Responsabilités

• Provides basic patient care with vital signs and simple tests.
• Assists with activities of daily living and hygiene.
• Assists with ambulation, nourishment, and safety.
• Collects specimens and weighs patients as assigned.
• Assists with discharge and transfer preparation.
