Focus is on excellent patient service, infection control, and teamwork with care teams. Requires CMA certification and BLS, with on-site schedule in Longview, Texas.

Responsibilities

• Assists providers with clinical procedures such as vital signs, wound care, sutures, injections, phlebotomy, vaccines, EKGs, and splints.
• Prepares and cleans exam rooms for patient visits and procedures.
• Performs patient intake duties, reports results, triages calls, and documents information.
• Reviews and maintains daily logs and documentation.
• Supports administrative duties: pre-registration, scheduling, referrals, insurance eligibility, and clinic communications.
• Maintains an organized workload and delivers prompt, courteous service.
• Monitors and requisitions clinic supplies and equipment.
• Educates patients on medications and diets; answers questions to ensure understanding.
• Performs other duties as assigned and maintains regular attendance.
