Mental Health Association of Rochester seeks a Cardiology Charge Nurse (RN) to lead and coordinate care on a high-risk cardiology unit. You will guide patient care from admission through discharge and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate holds an RN license with 2-5 years of nursing experience and preferably a Bachelor's in Nursing, plus BLS/ACLS/EKG certifications. Leadership experience is a plus and professional development is encouraged.

Qualifications

• RN license is required.
• 2-5 years of nursing experience.
• Preferred Bachelor's degree in Nursing and 5-10 years of experience.
• Certifications such as BLS, ACLS, and EKG are highly valued.
• Leadership experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care from admission through discharge.
• Develop and implement complex, individualized care plans with the team, patients, and families.
• Apply evidence-based practices to improve outcomes and safety.
• Assess patient data to anticipate clinical changes and intervene.
• Evaluate patient and family experiences to improve care quality.
• Lead practice evaluations and support clinical staff in safety.
