Job summary

Tufts Medicine Merrimack Valley Cardiology in Chelmsford is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to provide clinical and administrative support in a busy outpatient cardiology clinic. The role involves rooming patients, taking vitals, assisting physicians, and educating patients on specimen collection.

This is a full-time, on-site position with a Monday–Friday schedule. The ideal candidate will be nationally certified or registered, have a few years of MA experience, and cardiology experience

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent.
Medical Assistant National Certification Attestation (AAMA/AMCA/AMT/NCCT/NHA).
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification or obtained within 3 months.
Three years of Medical Assistant experience.

Responsibilities

Control and monitor patient flow to maximize efficiency.
Prepare medical records and verify patient data.
Provide excellent customer service in all patient interactions.
Escort patients, prepare exam rooms, and ensure patient comfort and safety.
Perform vital signs and collect specimens as ordered.
