Job summary

The Cardiovascular Tech (CVT) position at Mayo Clinic in Rochester Minnesota supports cardiovascular laboratories by assisting in scrub and circulating roles, preparing and maintaining equipment, and delivering patient-centered care before, during, and after procedures. Requires health science education and BLS/ACLS; RCIS/RCES training planned within 18 months of hire; competitive hourly pay and growth

Qualifications

• Post-secondary diploma or higher in a health science field with patient care experience.
• Associate degree with at least 2 years of patient care experience.
• Bachelor degree with at least 1 year of patient care experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in scrub and circulating roles during cardiovascular procedures.
• Prepare and maintain specialized equipment; provide patient care before, during and after procedures.
• Collaborate with care team and adhere to safety, infection control and confidentiality protocols.
