You will drive timely claim submission, follow-up, and issue resolution across Commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid lines. The role emphasizes team leadership, performance monitoring, and cross-functional collaboration to optimize revenue cycle outcomes and reimbursement.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years in healthcare revenue cycle or medical billing.
• 2+ years in supervision or people leadership.
• Strong understanding of Commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid billing.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare compliance regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of medical billing and insurance discovery professionals.
• Oversee daily billing and insurance discovery operations for timely submissions and follow-up.
• Monitor KPIs related to productivity, quality, and service levels.
• Analyze billing trends to identify challenges and improve reimbursement outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with payer rules and regulatory requirements.
• Drive process improvements to increase clean claim rates and reduce denials.
• Collaborate with Revenue Cycle Management, Patient Financial Services, Compliance, and Operations.
• Lead initiatives, workflow enhancements, and system implementations with engagement.
