Job summary

Doctors Medical Center of Modesto Hospital is seeking a Cardiology Assistant to perform routine duties under supervision, including EKGs, stress testing, and patient transport across pediatric to adult populations. The role supports department efficiency and patient care in a busy Cardiology unit.

We value a High School diploma and up-to-date BLS; recent EKG/treadmill experience is preferred, and Basic Dysrhythmia training is required or to be completed within six months of hire.

Qualifications

• High School graduate preferred.
• Recent (within 1 year) EKG and treadmill experience preferred.
• Current BLS card and Basic Dysrhythmia certification or plan to complete within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform EKGs, treadmill tests, and patient transport within Cardiology.
• Work under supervision of the Cardiology Nurse and Department Director.
• Help maximize department efficiency through effective triaging.
