Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Successful completion of Basic Arrhythmia course is required.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR card is required.
• Minimum score of 80% on the SAMC entry level EKG recognition exam within six months of hire is required.
• Previous 12-lead EKG experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• This position is responsible for performing cardio stress testing, ECG exams, Holter Monitor application and removal and ensuring proper documentation and clerical duties associated with the exams.
• This position is accountable for recognizing abnormal results and reporting to physicians.
