Job summary

You will hire and train staff, develop business strategies, monitor performance, and ensure timely patient management. A clinical background with Virginia RN licensure and 3+ years in cardiology is required, including 1 year in supervision.

Qualifications

• BSN, MSW, MHA or related Bachelor's Degree (or 4 years of experience in lieu of degree)

Responsibilities

• Oversees assigned area to ensure it is performing effectively, including hiring/training staff, implementing business strategies and managing performance.
• Anticipates patient/family needs and facilitates effective treatment plans.
• Ensures timely resolution of issues and collaborates with physicians, nursing, therapy and other team members for appropriate patient management.
• Analyzes patient outcomes and program trends, participates in monthly reporting of trends and outcomes.
• Manages staff development and oversees day-to-day department activities; participates in hiring decisions and recognizes staff contributions.
