Job summary

University Hospitals Pain Management in Parma is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider for outpatient cardiology services with travel to Medina and Fairlawn locations. The role involves seeing new and established patients on a Mon-Fri 8:00 am-4:30 pm schedule.

The APP must have established experience plus cardiology experience preferred. Work involves collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and adherence to Ohio State Nursing Board guidelines and UH bylaws.

Qualifications

• Advanced Practice Provider experience required.
• Cardiology experience preferred.
• Compliance with Ohio nursing/medical bylaws is expected.

Responsibilities

• Initiates and maintains positive relationships with patients and coworkers.
• Performs patient assessment and assigns provisional diagnoses.
• Develops and implements care plans per care paths and standards of care.
• Collaborates with other healthcare providers in an interdisciplinary team.
• Provides education and supports ongoing staff development.
• Maintains PHI privacy and complies with UH policies.
