Advanced Practice Provider Outpatient Cardiology - ( 260008P0 )

Seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider for outpatient cardiology services at UH Parma Medical Center with travel to Medina and Fairlawn locations. The schedule is days Mon-Fri 8:00 am-4:30 pm. The APP will see new and established patients. Advanced Practice Provider experience required and cardiology experience preferred.

A Brief Overview

The Advanced Practice Provider is responsible for providing quality care for patients and increasing patient access and satisfaction. Standard tasks to be performed by a Nurse Practitioner as specified by the Ohio State Nursing Board and UH entity specific Medical Bylaws

Education

• Master's Degree from an accredited PA educational program (Required)
• (MSN) Master's Degree in Nursing (Required)

Experience Qualifications

• 1+ years as a Physician Assistant (Preferred)
• 1+ years as a Nurse Practitioner (Preferred)

• Computer skills to access patient medical data from UHHS mainframe. (Required proficiency)

Licenses and Certifications

• Physician Assistant (PA) (Required) and
• Basic Life Support (BLS) (Required) and
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) (Preferred)
• Passed the Physician Assistant National Certifying Examination (Required) and
• Practice with a supervising physician (Required Upon Hire) and
• Maintain national PA Certification (Required)
• Registered Nurse (RN), Ohio and/or Multi State Compact License (Required) and
• Nurse Practitioner (NP) in the State of Ohio (Required) and
• Basic Life Support (BLS) (Required) and
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) (Preferred)
