Job summary

National Jewish Health is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) in Cardiology to deliver comprehensive care for adult patients in a busy outpatient setting. The APP may work in inpatient or outpatient services, including telehealth, with a focus on evaluation, diagnosis, and management of acute and chronic conditions.

Responsibilities include performing H&Ps, developing care plans, coordinating with a multidisciplinary team, and contributing to education and research initiatives.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program required.
• Colorado PA license or APRN license and prescriptive authority required.
• DEA Registration required.
• PA or NP certification by a national certifying body required.
• Current CPR/BLS certification is required.
• ACLS or PALS certification if applicable for specific practice area.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care in inpatient or outpatient settings, telehealth, and triage.
• Perform history, physical exams, and develop plans of care.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and support education and research activities.

Education
