Job summary

OSF HealthCare in Peoria, IL seeks a clinician to evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions, performing treadmill tests and comprehensive assessments.

The role involves developing treatment plans with cardiologists, coordinating care with teams, and contributing to quality improvement; weekly care at Lutheran Hillside Village is included.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions
• Conduct, analyze and record results from patient treadmill testing
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including histories and physical examinations
• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with cardiologists
• Manage follow-up care for patients with heart failure, coronary artery disease, arrhythmias, hypertension, and other cardiac conditions
• Order, interpret, and review diagnostic tests and laboratory results
• Provide patient education regarding disease management, medications, lifestyle modifications, and preventive care
• Coordinate care with primary care providers, specialists, nursing staff, and ancillary departments
• Provide weekly care at Lutheran Hillside Village in Peoria, IL
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
• Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently within the electronic medical record

• Clinical base hourly pay range for this position: $60.39 - $73.68
• Range shown should be used as an estimate and can be impacted by many factors including but not limited to the critical need of the position, overall experience and qualifications, community need, and other considerations. Additional compensation components may be applicable such as bonuses or incentives which may or may not be based on metric achievement.
