Job summary

OSF HealthCare is recruiting for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join an established Primary Care practice in Illinois. You will assess patients, diagnose and plan care following evidence-based pathways while educating patients and families.

Typical hours are Monday–Friday 8am–5pm, with one half Saturday and no on-call or weekend requirements. The role is salaried with a market-competitive total rewards package including generous PTO, CME support, malpractice coverage and career

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in nursing or physician assistant studies from an accredited program.
• Active Illinois license as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant.
• Certification by the ANCC or NCCPA.
• Minimum of two years of APP experience in primary care or related field is preferred.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.

Responsibilities

• Join an established Primary Care practice.

• Establish plan of care and implement interventions in accordance with care paths, protocols, standards of care and current research.
• Provide education and counseling to patients, families and groups.

Expected pay for this position is $55.20 - $63.65/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is a Salaried position.

• Clinical base hourly pay range for this position: $55.20-63.65 hr. This is a salaried position.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Master’s degree or higher in nursing or physician assistant studies from an accredited program


• Current Illinois license as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant


• Certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)


• Minimum of two years of experience as an APP in primary care or a related field is preferred


• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications


• Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems
