Job summary

The Division of Cardiology at the University of Washington invites applications for a general cardiologist in a clinical practice faculty position at Associate or Professor of Clinical Practice. This is a full-time, twelve-month position with start anticipated February 1, 2027; compensation is provided by VA Puget Sound Health Care System.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree with clinical care and education excellence.
• Completed ACGME or American Osteopathic cardiology residency.
• ABIM board certification in cardiovascular diseases.
• National Board of Echocardiography certification.
• COCATS Level III echocardiography training.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient and inpatient cardiology consultation and management.
• Mentorship and education of advanced providers in the region.
• Engage in teaching, research, and service.
• Lead telehealth expansion and develop regional cardiology infrastructure.
