Qualifications

• MD/DO degree and demonstrated excellence in clinical care and education.
• ACGME cardiology residency completed.
• ABIM Board Certified in Cardiovascular Diseases.
• National Board of Echocardiography Certification.
• COCATS Level III training in echocardiography.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient and inpatient cardiology consultation and management, including telehealth.
• Mentor cardiology and advanced providers; supervise echocardiography staff in the MASCOT program.
• Lead development of a hub-and-spoke cardiology network across WA, OR, ID and AK for veterans.
• Grow telehealth presence and build regional relationships to strengthen cardiology infrastructure.
• Report to the VISN 20 Chief Medical Officer; support education and performance evaluation.
