Qualifications

• MD/DO degree and demonstrated excellence in clinical care and education.
• Successful completion of an ACGME/AOA approved post-graduate residency in cardiology.
• ABIM Board Certified in Cardiovascular diseases.
• National Board of Echocardiography Certification and COCATS Level III training in echocardiography.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient and inpatient cardiology consultations and management.
• Mentorship, education and evaluation of providers in the MASCOT program.
• Lead telehealth initiatives within VISN 20.
• Direct supervision of cardiologists and echocardiography staff.
• Travel to multiple VISN 20 duty stations as needed.
