Job summary

NOW Healthcare Recruitment seeks a board-eligible/board-certified Cardiologist to join a large Catholic health system in Crown Point, IN, just outside Chicago. The role supports non-invasive cardiology with IMCU/inpatient exposure and community integration across multiple Indiana locations.

Telehealth is offered, with a flexible full-time schedule and 1:4 weekend/holiday call. Ideal candidates will have strong clinical excellence, patient satisfaction focus, and collaborative skills to work with

Qualifications

• Board eligible or board certified in Cardiology.
• Ability to obtain Indiana license to practice medicine.

Responsibilities

• Provide cardiology care with emphasis on non-invasive techniques.
• Collaborate with teams in Dyer, Munster and Michigan City to coordinate cardiology care.
• Apply IMCU/inpatient cardiology experience as needed for high-quality patient care.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and build ties with the community and medical staff.
• Work collaboratively with all physicians and staff in the Cardiology service line to deliver excellent patient care.
• Maintain a flexible full-time schedule with weekend/holiday call (1:4).
• Support outpatient and telehealth services as offered.

About the Role

• Location: Crown Point, IN - Less than 1hr from Chicago!
• seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Cardiologist who specializes in cardio non-invasive
• additional support as needed in Dyer, Munster and Michigan City. Interested candidate will join a talented and extensive cardiology team.
• Ideal candidate will have past or present IMCU and inpatient cardiology experience, strong focus on clinical excellence, and patient satisfaction.
• Candidate will display exceptional interpersonal skills and desire to develop strong ties with the community and existing medical staff.
• Physician will need to work collaboratively with all physicians and staff members within our Cardiology service line to coordinate and deliver the highest quality of patient care.
• Flexible full‑time schedule
• Weekend/Holiday Call: 1:4
• Average inpatient volume: 15 - 20 patients per day
• Outpatient volume will vary
• Telehealth visits offered
• IMCU & inpatient cardiology experience is preferred, not required
