Job summary

Ashton North LLC in Munster, Indiana, seeks a board-certified or board-eligible Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join our expanding cardiovascular program. This full-time, permanent role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with 1:7 call rotation, flexible work hours, and relocation assistance within the Northwest Indiana region.

You will provide long-term care for patients with heart failure, hypertension, arrhythmias and CAD, perform non-invasive tests (2D/3D echo, stress tests, EKG), and collaborate

Qualifications

• Board certification or eligibility in Cardiovascular Disease.
• Unrestricted Indiana Medical License or eligible for CSR/DEA registration.
• Experience with EPIC EMR and AI-assisted documentation tools.
• Strong communication and EMR proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide long-term care for patients with heart failure, hypertension, arrhythmias, and CAD.
• Clinic 20-25 patients per day.
• Call Rotation: 1:6.
• Perform and interpret non-invasive tests (2D/3D echo, stress testing, EKG, Holter, cardiac CT/MRI).
• Conduct risk assessments and implement interventions to prevent disease progression.
• Collaborate with Interventional Cardiologists and Cardiothoracic Surgeons on invasive decisions and post-procedural care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide long-term care for patients with chronic cardiovascular conditions such as heart failure, hypertension, arrhythmias, and coronary artery disease
• Clinic patients per day: 20-25
• Call Rotation: 1:6
• Perform and interpret non-invasive cardiovascular tests, including 2D/3D echocardiography, stress testing, EKG, Holter monitoring, and cardiac CT/MRI
• Conduct risk assessments and implement lifestyle or pharmacological interventions to prevent the progression of cardiovascular disease
• Collaborate with Interventional Cardiologists and Cardiothoracic Surgeons to determine when invasive procedures are necessary and provide post-procedural medical management

Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE) in Cardiovascular Disease
• Possession of or eligibility for an unrestricted Indiana Medical License and CSR/DEA registration
• Experience with or aptitude for utilizing EPIC EMR and AI-assisted documentation tools
• Strong communication skills and proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
