Job summary

Labela is seeking U.S.-based Cardiologists to validate, refine, and audit the clinical reasoning of frontier AI models in cardiovascular care, in a flexible, remote setting.

You will ensure AI recommendations align with ACC/AHA standards, review ECGs and imaging, and provide concise expert feedback on complex cases. This engagement runs July 30 to August 31, 2026 and supports project-based hours.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Cardiovascular Disease (ABIM).
• 2+ years of postgraduate clinical training.
• U.S. citizenship required, based in the United States.
• Ability to provide concise, technical feedback on complex clinical cases.

Overview

Labela is seeking U.S.-based Cardiologists at every career stage, from board-certified attendings and fellows to senior residents (PGY-2 and above), for high-level clinical consulting. You will serve as a subject matter expert to validate, refine, and audit the clinical reasoning of frontier AI models. This is a flexible, remote role designed to let clinicians influence the safety and accuracy of medical AI at scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Clinical Logic Auditing: Review and refine AI-generated diagnostic and treatment strategies to ensure alignment with ACC/AHA standards.
• High-Complexity Validation: Provide expert-level ground truth for intricate cardiovascular case presentations, ECG interpretation, and imaging datasets (Echo, CTA, Cardiac MRI).
• Safety Oversight: Identify clinical inaccuracies or hallucinations in AI outputs that could impact patient safety or triage decisions.
• Strategic Consulting: Advise on the development of AI-driven clinical decision support tools for cardiovascular care.

Qualifications

• Credentials: Board-certified or board-eligible in Cardiovascular Disease (ABIM), or a current senior resident or fellow (PGY-2 or above) training in the field.
• Experience: 2+ years of postgraduate clinical training. Established attendings and senior trainees are equally welcome.
• Citizenship: Must be based in the United States.
• Communication: Ability to provide concise, technical feedback on complex clinical cases.
