Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Thoracic and Cardiac Surgery (ABTS), or senior resident (PGY-2+) training.
• 2+ years of postgraduate clinical training; established attendings and senior trainees welcome.
• Citizenship: Must be based in the United States.
• Ability to provide concise, technical feedback on complex clinical cases.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Logic Auditing: Review and refine AI-generated diagnostic and treatment strategies to ensure alignment with STS/AATS standards.
• High-Complexity Validation: Provide expert-level ground truth for intricate cardiac surgical case presentations, operative imaging review, and surgical candidacy.
• Safety Oversight: Identify clinical inaccuracies or hallucinations in AI outputs that could impact patient safety or triage decisions.
• Strategic Consulting: Advise on the development of AI-driven clinical decision support tools for cardiac surgical care.
