Job summary

Archbold Medical Center is seeking a Cardiographic Technician to perform EKGs, treadmill tests and vascular assessments. The role involves preparing preliminary reports and supporting referring physicians at our Thomasville, GA campus.

Candidates should have an approved Cardiographic Technician program or equivalent experience with CCI certification, and current BLS. A hospital arrhythmias course within six months is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Cardiographic Technician program or equivalent experience and successful completion of the CCI Credentialing Certification.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Must attend and complete a hospital-sponsored arrhythmias course within six months.
• Solid understanding of cardiac anatomy/physiology, basic arrhythmia and vascular hemodynamics.

Description

• Perform treadmill testing
• Perform vascular plethysmography
• Prepare and relay preliminary reports to proper referring and/or reading physician

Education/Experience

• Graduate of an approved Cardiographic Technician program or equivalent work experience AND successful completion of the CCI Credentialing Certification for Cardiographic Technicians
• Current BLS certification
• Must attend and successfully complete a hospital sponsored arrhythmias course within the first six months of employment
• Must have a good basic understanding of cardiac anatomy/physiology, basic arrhythmia, and vascular hemodynamics
