Job summary

Archbold Medical Center is seeking a Radiologic Tech, Registered/GR, to support diagnostic imaging across all patient ages in Thomasville, GA. The incumbent will perform routine exams, prepare contrast, and adhere to safety and infection control protocols within the hospital's imaging department.

The role requires AMA-approved Radiologic Technology training, ARRT registration, and BLS certification. You will work with Unity, Novious, and PACS systems and contribute to growth within Archbold’s

Qualifications

• Formal Radiologic Technology training from an AMA-approved school.
• Must be registered, or if recent graduate, must pass registry.
• Must be certified in BLS.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine exams and be familiar with all patient categories (infant to geriatric).
• Provide diagnostic x-rays for pediatric to geriatric patients within protocols.
• Prepare and administer contrast media as ordered.
• Maintain infection control procedures.
• Utilize Unity, Novious and PACS systems.
• Maintain current education and certifications.
• Meet institutional requirements and safety goals daily.

Job description

Radiologic Tech, Registered/GR - JDAMH

Description

Must be knowledgeable in performance of all routine exams and be familiar with all special exams in all patient categories including infant, children, adolescent, adult and geriatric

Provide diagnostic x-rays for pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients within Diagnostic and Safety Protocols

Prepare and administer contrast media to patients as ordered

Maintain infection control procedures

Utilization of Unity, Novious and PACS

Maintain current basic education and certifications

Responsible for institutional requirements

Implement the use of JCAHO National Patient Safety Goals daily

Education/Experience

Satisfactory completion of formal Radiologic Technology training at an A.M.A. approved school and meets requirements for registry by A.R.R.T.

Must be registered, or if recent graduate, must pass registry

Must be certified in BLS
